ENERGY Damper 8in.x8in. (LTD8X8)
The Energy Top damper eliminates heat by air conditioning loss, keeps out birds and animals and drastically reduces outside noises. The "chimney fire safety device" locks the damper in the open position in the event of a chimney fire, preventing the accidental closing of the damper and the release of smoke and carbon monoxide into the home. The Energy Top Damper installs on the body of the flue by using silicon sealant (included). A 30' long stainless steel cable is provided to drop down the flue and mount to the firebox with the provided hardware and bracket. The damper can be easily opened and closed from inside the house. A 50' cable is available for installing a Energy Top on tall chimneys

This is the #1 selling damper for over 18 Years! The Sealtight original top sealing damper reduces heat and air conditioning loss through the chimney by as much as 90%, and eliminates down drafts when the fireplace is not in use. Sealtight dampers seal out snow, rain and animals and mount easily on the top of flue tile with silicone sealant (included). A 32' stainless steel cable extends down the flue to a bracket fastened on the side of the firebox. A simple tug on the cable and the damper opens easily. 

A 50' extension cable is available. Sealtight dampers are made of cast aluminum and come in six sizes. Easy instructions and all hardware pieces are included.

This Damper Cap Combo's unique combination features the best of both worlds. We have taken a lymance and incorporated it inside our premium cap. This combination is then easily bolted to the flue pipe
just like our standard cap.

The advantages to this combination are:

• For future cleanings the damper-cap combo is easily unbolted from the flue allowing the chimney to be cleaned properly with a full size chimney brush

• No thick layers of silicone to cut through to remove the damper

• When closed, the damper prevents heat & air conditioning loss, down drafts and noise

• When open, The Premium Cap protects against rain, snow, birds, animals and sparks
